This policy explains what personal information MAMO International collects when you visit our store, shop with us, write to us or join MAMO Club, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can and never sell your information.
Who is responsible for your information
Mamo TO babies, a company registered in Israel under number 516384898, at 96 Arlozorov Street, Holon, Israel, decides how your information is used. For anything about your privacy, write to sales@mamo-israel.co.il.
What we collect
When you create an account or join MAMO Club
- Your full name, mobile number and email address.
- The date you joined and agreed to receive MAMO news, and any later change to that choice.
- Your MAMO Club points and how you earned and used them.
When you order
- Delivery and billing addresses, phone number and email.
- What you ordered, what you paid, the currency, and your order’s delivery steps.
- Payment is handled by PayPal or our card payment provider. We receive confirmation that you paid, but never your full card number.
When you write to us
- Your name, email, the order number if you give one, your messages and any photos you send. Please avoid photos that show children’s faces; a photo of the piece is all we need.
When you sign in
- We email you a short code. We keep only a scrambled copy of it, and it stops working after 10 minutes.
When you browse
- Cookies that keep your bag, your currency choice and your sign-in working. These are necessary and always on.
- Only if you agree in our cookie banner: Google Analytics cookies, which show us how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel, which measures our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. You can change your mind at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page or on our Cookie Policy page.
- To show how many people viewed a piece today, we count visits with a scrambled code made from your connection and browser. It cannot identify you and is deleted after 24 hours.
- Technical information our servers record to keep the site safe, such as your IP address and browser type.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To take, deliver and support your order, run your account and MAMO Club, and answer your messages: because we need it to provide what you asked for (contract).
- To keep invoices and records that tax and accounting law requires: because the law obliges us (legal obligation).
- To keep the store secure, prevent fraud and handle claims, and to improve our pieces and service: in our legitimate interest, balanced against your rights.
- To send you MAMO news and offers by email: because you agreed when you joined MAMO Club (consent). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can turn news off in My details.
- For analytics and advertising cookies: only with your consent in the cookie banner.
Who we share it with
We share only what each partner needs to do their job for us, and they may use it only for that:
- PayPal and our card payment provider, to take your payment securely and prevent fraud.
- Our courier partners, such as DHL Express or FedEx, to deliver your order and clear it through customs. They need your name, address, phone, email and the contents and value of your parcel.
- Brevo, to send sign-in codes, order updates and MAMO news.
- Our hosting provider, which runs our website and stores its data.
- Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel), only if you have agreed to those cookies.
- Complianz, which records your cookie choices.
- Customs and tax authorities, to the extent required to send your parcel across borders and to keep our accounts.
- Our professional advisers, insurers and authorities, when needed to handle a claim or when the law requires it.
We never sell your personal information or share it with others for their own advertising.
International transfers
We are based in Israel. The European Commission and the United Kingdom recognise Israel as giving personal data an adequate level of protection, so information can come to us without extra safeguards. Some of our partners handle information in other countries, including the United States. Where a country has no such recognition, we rely on safeguards the law approves, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Orders and invoices: 7 years, as Israeli tax law requires.
- Your account and MAMO Club points: while your account is open. Ask us and we delete it, keeping only what the law requires.
- Your consent to MAMO news: until you unsubscribe, then a record of your choice for as long as we need to show we respected it.
- Messages, customer care requests and photos: 3 years after the last message, or longer if needed for an open claim.
- Sign-in codes: 10 minutes. Visit counts for the viewed-today line: 24 hours. Analytics data: up to 14 months.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- stop or limit using it, or object to how we use it;
- give you your information in a format you can take elsewhere;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before.
Write to sales@mamo-israel.co.il. We answer within one month, and may ask you to confirm who you are first. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in Israel the Privacy Protection Authority, in the European Union the authority of your country, and in the United Kingdom the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Customers in California and other US states
You have the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted and corrected, and not to be treated differently for using those rights. We do not sell personal information. If you agree to advertising cookies, the Meta Pixel may count as sharing for advertising under some state laws; you can refuse or withdraw it at any time through Cookie settings.
Children
Our pieces are made for children, but our store is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has given us their details, write to us and we delete them.
How we protect it
Our site uses an encrypted connection. Sign-in uses one-time codes instead of passwords. Only the people who need it to look after your order can see your information, and our partners must protect it to the same standard.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects you significantly, we will tell you by email.
